Name plaques customised

This is the first time i worked with clay.. Today sharing customised wooden name plaques that i created using clay to embellish them..  started with a wooden base and primed it with gesso..  created my choice of acrylic backgrounds and made the embellishments using air dry clay.. And yes without using any tools..  just used a craft knife and my fingers to shape them..  finally added a layer of varnish and a jute twine to help it hang on a wall... These are great for gifting kids as they love anything made specially for them with their names on it 😃.. Do drop some love if you like it

Happy rakhi

Today I have handmade  quilled rakhi with a card to go along with it..  started with a ivory cardstock as a base..  gold embossed using hero arts large lotus stencil and distressed using rip persimon and spiced marmelade distress inks. .  die cut the edge using pretty pink posh border dies..  adhered a gold embossed hero arts large blossom..  finished the card with a oval die cut and hand written sentiment and sequins..  love the monochromatic look of the card..  wat say???

Entering this card into Parus card making challenges august as there is family theme this month
