Altered Placemat

Its republic day fever everywhere..I can see all the blog hops on republic day themes.. Here is my take on it... An old placemat turned into a nameplaque for my daughter Aarohi's room. Have tried to incorporate tricolors of our indian flag :)

Played with pattern papers, texture stamps, chipboard accents, metal butterfly charm and homemade texture paste, handmde flower and lace .. Did not have a apprpriate stamp so had to write the sentiment with a black marker ...

Enjoyed making it to the core. Entering this into ICR Indian Flag Colors Blog Hop JAN 2016 and Peek-a-boo design Jan challenge 2016
