Name plaques customised

This is the first time i worked with clay.. Today sharing customised wooden name plaques that i created using clay to embellish them..  started with a wooden base and primed it with gesso..  created my choice of acrylic backgrounds and made the embellishments using air dry clay.. And yes without using any tools..  just used a craft knife and my fingers to shape them..  finally added a layer of varnish and a jute twine to help it hang on a wall... These are great for gifting kids as they love anything made specially for them with their names on it 😃.. Do drop some love if you like it

Fun Birthday Card

Today I am sharing a fun side step birthday card.. Inspired from a lot of tutorials made my own template for a side step card.. Used 250 gsm Kraft cardstock as a base and added pattern papers on each step.. Colored my new penny black mimis love stamps that I recently won.. They are so adorable.. and mounted on the main step with a oval die cut and distressed using distress inks and MFT stencil.. Embellished the card with a pink ribbon and a handmade rose..Also added a little banner using toothpicks and fussycut pattern papers.
